Abstract: Extensions of Huber's Theorem to higher dimensions with Lfracn2 bounded scalar curvature have been studied for many years. In this paper, we discuss the properties of a conformal metric with |R|Lfracn2<+infty on a punctured ball to find some geometric obstacles to Huber's theorem. To our surprise, such a metric is rather more rigid than we have ever thought. For example, its volume density at infinity is exact 1, and its blow-down is mathbbRn. When the dimension is 4, we derive the L2-integrability of Ricci curvature, which follows that the Pfaffian 4-form is integrable and satisfies a Gauss-Bonnet-Chern formula. We also show that one of the Gauss-Bonnet-Chern formulas proved by Lu and Wang, under the assumption that the second fundamental form is in L4, holds when RinL2. Consequently, on an orientable 4-dimensional manifold which is conformal to a domain of a closed manifold, Huber's Theorem holds when RinL2, if and only if the negative part of Pfaffian 4-form is integrable.
