Abstract: Based on large N Chern-Simons/topological string duality, in a series of papers, J.M.F. Labastida, M. Marino, H. Ooguri and C. Vafa conjectured certain remarkable new algebraic structure of link invariants and the existence of infinite series of new integer invariants. In this paper, we provide a proof of this conjecture. Moreover, we also show these new integer invariants vanish at large genera.

In a series of papers, [Nucl. Phys., B 577, No. 3, 419--438 (2000; Zbl 1036.81515); J. High Energy Phys. 4, No. 11, Paper No. 11(2000)007, 41 p. (2000; Zbl 0990.81545); J. Knot Theory Ramifications 11, No. 2, 173--197 (2002; Zbl 1002.57026)], \textit{J. M. F. Labastida, M. Mariño, H. Ooguri} and \textit{C. Vafa} conjectured a remarkable result about the existence of certain new algebraic structures of quantum link invariants, and the existence of an infinite family of new integer invariants. This conjecture was verified in several lower degree cases for some torus links by \textit{X.-S. Lin} and \textit{H. Zheng} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 362, No. 1, 1--18 (2010; Zbl 1193.57006)]. In this paper, the authors use the cut-and-join analysis and a special rational ring characterizing the structure of the Chern-Simons partition function to give a complete proof of the Labastida-Mariño-Ooguri-Vafa conjecture and to establish that the new integer invariants vanish at large genera.
