Modified double Laplace transform of partial derivatives and its applications
The modified Laplace transform is defined in analogy to the usual one, with $e^{-px}$ replaced with $a^{-px}$ for some $a>0$, and similarly for the modified double Laplace transform for bivariate functions. In Section~3, results and properties for the modified double Laplace transform are discussed. Based on the standard results on the modified double Laplace transform, theorems (see Theorems 4.1--4.5) on the modified double Laplace transform of first and second-order partial derivatives are enumerated in Section~4. Further, the authors apply their results to solve homogeneous and non-homogeneous partial differential equations, Cauchy's differential equation, d'Alembert's wave equation, and the Klein-Gordon equation, under different conditions; this is presented in the subsections 5.1--5.5.
