Volume asymptotics, Margulis function and rigidity beyond nonpositive curvature

The paper extends the classical Margulis type estimate for the geodesic flow on non-positively curved manifolds by replacing the condition on non-positive curvature with a condition on non-focal points. The author also shows various rigidity results for the Margulis function and flip invariant measures.
