Noncommutative linear systems and noncommutative elliptic curves
The paper under review introduces the concept of a helix in an abelian category over a quadratic Z-indexed algebra as a noncommutative analogue to classical linear systems. The authors demonstrate that a helix can induce a morphism between noncommutative spaces, specifically from ProjEnd(L) to ProjA. They provide examples involving helices of vector bundles on elliptic curves, generalizing known constructions by Bondal-Polishchuk, and explore the connections to noncommutative elliptic curves as described by Polishchuk. The paper further develops the notion of Koszul complexes within this framework and offers a comprehensive examination of the associated algebraic structures, highlighting their significance in embedding noncommutative elliptic curves into noncommutative projective planes. The theoretical advancements presented are poised to deepen the understanding of noncommutative projective geometry and its applications.
