The paper presents a study on the double diffusive convection of nanofluid in a rotated porous cavity of z-shaped with sloshing fins. The objective of the study is to explore the effects of the cross-diffusional parameters -- Soret and Dufour numbers -- on the process of double diffusion. The problem is formulated by stating the differential equations for mass, momentum, energy and specie concentration with an appropriate initial and boundary conditions in two dimensions. An incompressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics method is used for simulating the circular rotation of the cavity and slosh motion. The algebraic expressions are used for the density, specific heat and the thermal conductivity of the nanofluid. Although, a number of studies do not suggest the use of the algebraic expression for the thermal conductivity of the nanofluids. The results are depicted graphically with a dominant role of the Soret number playing an important role in improving the heat and mass transfer processes and the velocity field in the cavity. The simulation finds the Dufour number to be less effective in the double diffusive convection.
