Let \(G\) stand for \(\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)\) with \(p \geq 5\), and let \(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}\) denote the pro-\(p\)-Iwahori Hecke algebra of \(G\) with coefficients in \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\). Let us denote by \(Z(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p})\) the centre of the algebra \(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}\).\N\NIn their previous work [Represent. Theory 27, 1142--1193 (2023; Zbl 1562.11197)], the authors have constructed the mod \(p\) spherical module \(\mathcal{M}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}\). Let \(X\) be the projective curve parametrizing \(2\)-dimensional mod \(p\) semi-simple representations of the absolute Galois group \(\mathrm{Gal}(\overline{\mathbb{Q}}_p / \mathbb{Q}_p)\).\N\NFor a closed point \(z \in \mathrm{Spec}Z(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p})\), we denote by \(\mathcal{M}^{(1), ss}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p, z}\) the semisimplification of the \(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}\)-module \(\mathcal{M}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p} \otimes_{Z(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}), z} \overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\).\N\NIn the paper under the review, the authors show that there exists a quotient morphism of \(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p\)-schemes \(\mathcal{L} : \mathrm{Spec}Z(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p}) \rightarrow X\) such that for a closed point \(z \in \mathrm{Spec}Z(\mathcal{H}^{(1)}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p})\) the correspondence between \(\mathcal{M}^{(1), ss}_{\overline{\mathbb{F}}_p, z}\) and the Galois representation associated to the point \(\mathcal{L}(z)\) is the semisimple mod \(p\) local Langlands correspondence for Hecke modules.
