Abstract: We show that the Calabi homomorphism extends to some groups of homeomorphisms on exact symplectic manifolds. The construction is based on the uniqueness of the generating Hamiltonian (proved by Viterbo) of continuous Hamiltonian isotopies (introduced by Mueller and Oh).
