Cartan subalgebras for restrictions of g-modules
In the paper under reviewing the author studies the geometry of \(\mathcal A\)-orbits in a \(\mathfrak g\)-module with an irreducible action of a larger (than universal envelopping) algebra \(\mathcal A\) and shows that the support of the center of the universal enveloping algebra \(U(\mathfrak g)\) the centre \(\mathcal Z(\mathfrak g)\)-action is a union of affine subspaces in the dual of a Cartan subalgebra modulo the Weyl group action. For a \(\mathfrak g\)-module \(V\) is equip-rank, if the lower local rank \(\mathrm{loc}.\underline{\mathrm{rank}}:= \min\{k\in \mathbb N: \mathcal R_k(V) \ne 0\}\) is equal to the upper local rank \(\mathrm{loc}.\overline{\mathrm {rank}}:= \min\{k\in \mathbb N: \mathcal R_k(V) = V\}\), where \(\mathcal R_k(V) := \{v\in V: \dim(\mathcal V(\mathrm{Ann}_{\mathcal Z(\mathfrak g)}(v))) \leq k\}\).\N\NThe main results of the paper are:\N\N\(\bullet\) the restriction \(V |_\mathfrak{g}\) of any irreducible \(\mathcal A\)-module is equi-rank (Theorems 1.1, 3.20);\N\N\(\bullet\) In the case of \(\mathcal A\) has at most countable dimension, let \(R\) be the set of all \(\mathfrak h\)-weights in \(\mathcal A\), \(V\) be an irreducible \(\mathcal A\)-module, then there exist a subspace \(\mathfrak a^* \subset \mathfrak h^*\) and \(\lambda_0 \in \mathfrak h^*\) with the following two properties: 1. \(\mathfrak a^*\) is spanned by some elements of the form \(\mu-\mu'\; (\mu,\mu'\in R)\); 2. For any \(P\in \mathrm{Ass}\mathcal Z(\mathfrak g) (V |_{\mathfrak g})\), there exists \(\alpha\in R\) such that \(\mathcal V(P) = q(\mathfrak a^* + \lambda_0 + \alpha)\), where \(q: \mathfrak h^* \to \mathfrak h^*/W\). (Theorems 1.2. 3.25).
