Atsuji completions: Equivalent characterisations

In this most thorough paper, the authors build on work of \textit{G. Beer} [most particularly in Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 33, 397--406 (1986; Zbl 0573.54026)] and \textit{J. Borsík} [Cas. Pestovńí\ Mat. 113, No. 3, 280--285 (1988; Zbl 0657.54024)], to give a large number of equivalent characterizations for a metric space to have an Atsuji completion; that is, a completion in which every real-valued continuous function is uniformly continuous.
