Transversality of covariant mappings admitting a potential
Representations of Lie and linear algebraic groups over real fields: analytic methods (22E45) Fine potential theory; fine properties of sets and functions (31C40) Multilinear and polynomial operators (47H60) Equations involving nonlinear operators (general) (47J05) Differential topology (57R99) Differentiable maps on manifolds (58C25) Variational problems in infinite-dimensional spaces (58E99)
Summary: It is shown that, for any mapping between Banach spaces which is covariant under a nonlinear action of a Lie group and have a symmetric first derivative with respect to some duality, the image of any point close to the origin belongs to the polar of the orbit of that point, under the commutator subgroup of the symmetry group.
