Abstract: Let $Goo$ be a semisimple real Lie group with unitary dual $Ghat$. The goal of this note is to produce new upper bounds for the multiplicities with which representations $piinGhat$ of cohomological type appear in certain spaces of cusp forms on $Goo$.
