Tldr This study introduces a novel multi-modal framework combining optical coherence tomography and photoacoustic tomography to enable quantitative tissue feature extraction via quasi-static elastography. Systematic evaluations demonstrate that their hybrid inversion algorithm yields superior strain signal-to-noise ratios and improved stiffness estimates compared to single-modality methods in both absorbing and scattering materials.
