Quantization of contact manifolds

From MaRDI portal

The author considers a contact manifold \(Z\) of dimension \(2n+1\) and proves that it is possible to construct canonically a globally defined stack \(M(Z)\) on \(Z\) which is locally equivalent to the stack of modules over the ring of micro-differential operators. Some interconnections of \(M(Z)\) with the sheaf of micro-functions and the subcategory \(\text{Reg}(Z)\) of regular holonomic systems in \(M(Z)\) are given. Author's question: Is there an analogue of \(M(Z)\) on any Poisson manifold \(Z\)?
