Relatively Hyperbolic Groups with Semistable Peripheral Subgroups
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Suppose is a finitely presented group that is hyperbolic relative to a finite collection of 1-ended finitely generated proper subgroups of . If and the are 1-ended and the boundary has no cut point, then was known to have semistable fundamental group at . We consider the more general situation when contains cut points. Our main theorem states that if is finitely presented and each is finitely generated and has semistable fundamental group at , then has semistable fundamental group at .
