Reliability of a monitored system
From MaRDI portal
The stationary and nonstationary values of the fundamental probability characteristics of a continuously and periodically monitored repairable system are determined on the assumption that the periodicity and duration of monitoring and the repair time are random variables with arbitrary distribution functions. The flows of faults that are detectable and undetectable by continuous monitoring are assumed to have a Poisson distribution.
