Resolution of fourth-order problems by the mortar element method
From MaRDI portal
Taking as an example the biharmonic problem in weak formulation the authors show the application of the mortar element method to fourth-order problems. An analysis of the well-posedness of the corresponding discrete problem as well as a description of the implementation of the method are given.
