Restricting Riesz-logarithmic-Gagliardo-Lipschitz potentials
If \(0<\alpha<n\), then the Riesz potential operator \(\mathcal I_\alpha\) is defined by\N\[\N\mathcal I_\alpha f(x)=\gamma(\alpha) \int_{\mathbb R^n} |y-x|^{\alpha-n} f(y)\,dy \quad \text{ for all }x \in \mathbb R^n\N\]\Nprovided that \(f\) has fast decay at infinity, where\N\[\N\gamma(\alpha)=\frac{\Gamma((n-\alpha)/2)}{\pi^{n/2} \Gamma(\alpha/2)}\N\]\Nand the symbol \(\Gamma\) stands for the Gamma function.\N\NIf \(\mu\) is a non-negative Radon measure on \(\mathbb R^n\), \(q \in (0,\infty)\), and \(\lambda \in (0, n]\), then the Radon-Campanato space \(\mathcal L^{q,\lambda}_ \mu(\mathbb R^n)\) is the collection of all \(\mu\)-measurable functions \(f\) on \(\mathbb R^n\) which satisfy\N\[\N\|f\|_{\mathcal L^{q,\lambda}_ \mu(\mathbb R^n)}= \sup_{(x,r) \in \mathbb R^n \times (0,\infty)} \left(r^{\lambda-n}\int_{B(x,r)} |f-f_{B(x,r),\mu}|^q\,d\mu\right)^{1/q}<\infty,\N\]\Nwhere\N\[\Nf_{B(x,r),\mu}= \frac{1}{\mu(B(x,r))}\int_{B(x,r)} f\,d\mu\,.\N\]\NAssuming that \(1\le p\le \infty\), \(0\le s \le 1,\) and\N\[\Nb\in\mathbb R\text{ if }0<s<1,\text{ or }b<0\text{ if }s=1,\text{ or }b>0\text{ if }s=0,\tag{1}\N\]\Nthe authors define the logarithmic-Gagliardo-Lipschitz space \(\dot B^{s,b}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb R^n)\) as the closure of \(C^\infty_c(\mathbb R^n)\)-functions under the semi-norm\N\[\N\|f\|_{\dot B^{s,b}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb R^n)}=\sup_{h\in \mathbb R^n} \left(\log \frac{e}{\min\{|h|,1\}}\right)^{\!b} \,\frac{\|\triangle_hf\|_{L^p(\mathbb R^n)}}{|h|^s},\N\]\Nwhere \(\triangle_hf(\cdot)=f(\cdot+h)-f(\cdot)\).\N\NFurthermore, given \(\beta \in (0,n], \gamma \in \mathbb R\) and a non-negative Radon measure \(\mu\) on \(\mathbb R^n\), they put\N\[\N\||\mu\||_{\beta, \gamma, \log}=\sup_{(x,r)\in \mathbb R^n \times (0,\infty)} \frac{\mu(B(x,r))} {r^\beta[\log(e+1/r)]^\gamma}.\N\]\NThe main result of the paper reads as follows:\N\NLet \(0\le s \le 1, \ 0<\alpha<n, \ 0<\beta \le n\),\N\[\N1\le\min\{p,q\}\le \max\{p,q\}<\beta p(n-\alpha p)^{-1}<\infty,\\N\]\N\(\gamma=bq, \ \lambda=n-\beta+q(np^{-1}-s-\alpha)\le n,\ \) and let (1) hold.\N\[\Nb\in\mathbb R\text{ if } 0<s<1,\text{ or }b<0\text{ if }s=1,\text{ or }b>0\text{ if }s=0.\N\]\NThen:\N\N(i) If \(\mathcal I_\alpha : \dot B^{s,b}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb R^n)\rightarrow \mathcal L^{q,\lambda}_ \mu(\mathbb R^n)\) is bounded and \(\mu\) is doubling, then \(\||\mu\||_{\beta, \gamma, \log}<\infty\).\N\N(ii) If \(\||\mu\||_{\beta, \gamma, \log}<\infty\), then \(\mathcal I_\alpha : \dot B^{s,b}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb R^n)\rightarrow \mathcal L^{q,\lambda}_ \mu(\mathbb R^n)\) is bounded. Moreover,\N\[\N\|\mathcal I_\alpha\|_{\dot B^{s,b}_{p,\infty}(\mathbb R^n)\rightarrow \mathcal L^{q,\lambda}_ \mu(\mathbb R^n)} \approx (\||\mu\||_{\beta, \gamma, \log})^{1/p},\N\]\Nwith implicit constants independent of \(\mu\).
