Same-size conjugacy classes of Frobenius groups
From MaRDI portal
For a finite group \(G\), the paper studies the same-size conjugate set \(U(G)=\{u_G(n_i)\}\), where \(u_G(n_i)\) denotes the number of elements of \(G\) whose conjugacy class has size \(n_i\). One of the main results shows that if \(U(G)=\{1,p^m,q^n\}\), where \(p\) and \(q\) are distinct primes and \(m,n>0\), then \(G\) is a Frobenius group of order \(p^{\alpha}q^{\beta}\) with abelian Frobenius kernel and abelian Frobenius complement.
