Saturated sets of probability measures and stochastic matrices

From MaRDI portal

The author considers saturated sets of probability measures being defined as an intersection of the closed linear hull of the set and the set of regular Borel probability measures, and studies the geometry of such sets. He shows also the connection of saturated sets with quasi- bipositive Markov operators representable as quasi-bipositive stochastic matrices and characterizes them in certain combinatorial terms.
