Scattering poles for negative potentials
From MaRDI portal
The author proves that for potentials \(V\) with compact support and fixed sign, the number of purely imaginary scattering poles \(i\sigma\) with \(|\sigma|\leq s\) of \(-\Delta + V(x)\) has a lower bound of the form \(Cs^{n-1}-C_1\). This improves the known results established for nonnegative potentials.
