The author points out that so-called semi-orthogonality relations given by \textit{S. D. Bajpai}, \textit{M. S. Arora} and \textit{S. Mishra} [Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 2, 83-90 (1994; Zbl 0821.33004)] are simple consequences of orthogonality for the polynomials considered.
