Sieves and completeness properties
From MaRDI portal
Standard methods are used to characterize certain classes of spaces as images of (completely) metrizable spaces under certain upper semicontinuous compact-valued mappings. The authors characterize in this way spaces of point-countable type, sieve-complete spaces and first-countable sieve-complete spaces.
