Solvability and uniqueness results
From MaRDI portal
The authors study the mean curvature equation \(\Delta X=2HX_u \wedge X_v\). For any fixed \(H=H(u,v,X,X_u,X_v)\) they give a family of boundary data \(g\) such that the Dirichlet problem is solvable. They also prove under some conditions local and global uniqueness of the solutions in the Banach space \(C ({\overline \Omega},R^3)\).
