Solvability of a generalized two dimensional nonlinear fractional integral equation
From MaRDI portal
The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the existence of solutions to quadratic fractional integral equations. The authors use a fixed point theorem based on the concept of measure of noncompactness, in conjunction with a special version of the Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem. The study explores various versions of this theorem, which eliminate the need for operators to have properties of closedness, convexity, and compactness.
