Some multivariable bilateral generating relations involving Jacobi polynomials
From MaRDI portal
For a bounded multiple sequence of arbitrary complex numbers, the authors derive a family of bilateral generating functions involving the classical Jacobi polynomials. In these derivations, they make use of several definitions and results presented rather systematically by the reviewer and \textit{H. L. Manocha} [A treatise on generating functions (1984; Zbl 0535.33001)]. A fairly large number of special cases and consequences of the authors' main result are also considered.
