Some problems in set-theoretic topology
Consistency and independence results (03E35) Cardinality properties (cardinal functions and inequalities, discrete subsets) (54A25) Consistency and independence results in general topology (54A35) Noncompact covering properties (paracompact, Lindelöf, etc.) (54D20) Metric spaces, metrizability (54E35)
The paper restates some interesting recent work of the author and raises some related unsolved problems. Some problems do not seem overly set-theoretic. For example, it is asked whether every first countable (normal) non-metrizable space has a non-metrizable subspace of size \(\aleph_1\). However it is likely that the questions raised will be very set-theoretic as the phrasing of the following would suggest: Is it consistent that every normal k-space is collection-wise normal.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0972.00067].
