Some two-parameter families of generalized Bernstein functions
From MaRDI portal
The purpose of this paper is to show that certain functions involving ratios of Gamma functions and the Psi function belong to generalized Bernstein classes. The proofs use partial integration, Fubini's theorem, Stieltjes function, the logarithmic derivative of the Gamma function. The procedures are illustrated with several diagrams. An example related to the Beta and incomplete Beta function is given.
