The author proves a matricial form of the Euler congruence i.e.: \[ \text{tr}\,A^{p^n} \equiv \text{tr}\,A^{p^{n-1}} \bmod {p^n}. \] This congruence was conjectured by \textit{V. Arnold} in his paper [``On the matricial version of Fermat-Euler congruences'', ibid. 1, No. 1, 1--24 (2006; Zbl 1168.05003)]. Vinberg also disproves some of the conjectured congruences for multinomial coefficients in the paper of Arnold. However he gives prove for the best possible alternatives for these conjectures. The notation used by Arnold is replaced by a more decent one, which greatly simplifies the statements and allows for nice, simple, elegant elementary and more general proofs. Well done!
