The paper is devoted to the inverse problem of Galois theory of differential fields which has been formulated by E. Kolchin in 1966 on the Moscow International Congress of Mathematicians. For a given differential field \(F\) and an algebraic group \(G\) to describe all extensions of field \(F\) with Galois group isomorphic to \(G\). At the moment this problem it is not solved, but there are partial solutions for certain groups and fields [see \textit{M. F. Singer}, ``Introduction to the Galois theory of linear differential equations'', London Mathematical Society Lecture Note Series 357, 1--82 (2009; Zbl 1176.12005)]. The authors show that isomorphism classes of Picard-Vessiot extensions with group \(G\) correspond to \(G\)-orbits in a certain finite-dimensional vector space with \(G\)-action. The paper does not contain new solutions of the problem.
