    A technique of estimation is proposed for the parameters of a stochastic adaptive model of the sensor system of a human operator (i.e., the perceived noise level, the time constant, and the signal-to-noise ratio). The experimental results are presented for various sensitivities of the indicator and the strength of the disturbances acting on the plant. The increase in the perceived noise in two-variable tracking is estimated in comparison to one-variable tracking.
