Surface- and interface oscillations of a rotating viscoelastic liquid column of immiscible liquids (Q1093434)

The natural damped coupled frequencies of a solidly rotating viscoelastic infinite liquid column with no axial dependency have been attempted by the author. The frequency equation is solved numerically for a single viscoelastic liquid column and the effects of tension parameter, relaxation parameter and rotational Reynolds number have been critically examined. Stability conditions of liquid column and boundary have also been analysed. Analytical results have been depicted graphically.
