An asymptotic theory of nonlinear mass transfer in laminar gas-liquid systems with a moving phase interface is proposed. The problem is solved in the diffusion boundary layer approximation accounting for the interaction between the hydrodynamic flow and the diffusive flux for the case of intensive mass transfer between the gas and the liquid.
