    Dawson's integral \[ F(x)= e^{-x^2} \int^x_0 e^{t^2}dt \] is important in several physical problems. The author obtains some constrained near-minimax rational approximation formulas for computing \(F(x)\). One of the approximations is \[ {F(x) \over x} \approx {1+{33 \over 232} x^2+ {19\over 632} x^4+ {23\over 1471} x^6\over 1+ {517 \over 646} x^2+ {58 \over 173} x^4+ {11\over 262} x^6+{46 \over 1471} x^8}. \]
