The author presents four construction principles that allow to produce many beautiful planes and spatial models of the most important small finite geometries. The first rule is ``number right \(\to\) everything right''. It means that there is given a small, highly symmetrical geometry with \(n\) points, and we look for the same number of points arranged into a highly symmetrical spatial object. The second one is ``subset geometries''. There is given a subset geometry on \(| O|=n\) points and we try to translate automorphisms of symmetrical arrangements of \(n\) points in the plane or in space into ``good'' models of geometry which exhibit as many of these automorphisms as possible. The third construction principle is ``subgeometry \(\to\) full geometry''. We try to extend ``good'' models of subgeometries of a given geometry to a good model of the full geometry. The last construction principle is ``geometry \(\to\) subgeometry''. We try to find models of subgeometries of a given geometry, ``right in the middle'' of a good model of the geometry.
