The author discusses well-known families of discrete solutions to indeterminate moment problems. He then goes on to show how they can be used to generate absolutely continuous solutions to the same problems. The solutions, though not new, yet are established in a simple elementary manner. He discusses different indeterminate moment problems connected with \(q\)-special functions viz. log-normal, generalized Stieltjes-Wigert, \(q\)-Laguerre, and discrete \(q\)-Hermite II functions.
