The author studies the homotopy type of Co-\(H\) spaces, \(C\), which are \(R\)-local CW-complexes such that the ring \(R\), the dimension and the connectivity of \(C\) are well-selected in the sense of \textit{D. J. Anick} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 2, No. 3, 417-453 (1989; Zbl 0681.55006)]. He proves that \(C\) is homotopy equivalent to a wedge of Moore spaces and, if \(H_ *(C,R)\) is free as \(R\)-module, that \(C\) is Co-\(H\) equivalent to a suspension. As corollary, the author gives an elementary proof of a decomposition in product for functional spaces, map \((C;Y)\), previously established by \textit{Y. Félix} and \textit{J.-C. Thomas} [Topology 32, No. 1, 1-4 (1993; Zbl 0774.55005)].
