Z. Liang and, successively, C. E. Chidume and the author studied methods for approximating the solution of the equation \(x+Tx= f\), where \(T\) is an operator \(m\)-accretive from a subset of \(E\) to \(E\), \(E\) being a real uniformly smooth Banach space. In this paper, the author extends the above results to the more general context of real reflexive Banach spaces. Moreover, he gives additional information about the error estimates, proving that the convergence to the solution is at least as fast as a geometric progression.
