The authors improve the well-known generalization of the Erdős-Szekeres convex \(n\)-gon theorem in \textit{T. Bisztriczky} and \textit{G. Fejes Tóth} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 395, 167-170 (1989; Zbl 0654.52003) and Combinatorica 10, No. 2, 195-202 (1990; Zbl 0717.52003)]. This is done by using the idea of the original proof of Erdős and Szekeres.
