Let \((X,d_1)\), \((Y,d_2)\) be two metric spaces and \(F:X\to B(Y)\), \(G:Y \to B(X)\) two set-valued mappings. The authors give some metric conditions which imply that the mappings \(F\circ G\), \(G\circ F\) have unique fixed points. Reviewer's remark: throughout in this paper \(B(X)\) is the set of all nonempty bounded subsets of \(X\).
