Let \(E\) be a finite extension of an algebraic number field \(F\), let \({\mathcal A}\in H(F)\), and let \(A\) be a fractional ideal of \(E\). The author considers the relative partial zeta function \[ \zeta_{E/F,{\mathcal A}}(A^{-1},s) = N(A)^s\sum_{\mathfrak a}\sum_{x\in O^*_E\setminus A_{\mathfrak a}}\frac{1}{ |N_{E/Q}(x)|^s}, \] where the first summation is extended over fractional ideals \(\mathfrak a\) in \(\mathcal A\) containing \(1\), and \(A_{\mathfrak a}\) is the set of all \(y\in A\) such that the multiplication by \(y\) induces a split injective \(O_F\)-homomorphism of \(\mathfrak a\) in \(A\). It is shown that this zeta-function has a meromorphic continuation with a simple pole at \(s=1\), a formula is given for its residue at \(s=1\), and an analogue of Kronecker's limit formula is proved (Theorem 5.3.1). This is obtained by a generalization of the integral formula proved by \textit{E. Hecke} [Verh. Naturf. Ges. Basel 28, 363--372 (1917; JFM 47.0144.01)] for real quadratic fields, in which the partial zeta function is represented by an integral of a real Eisenstein series. The author obtains an analogous formula (Theorem 3.3.3) utilizing Langland's Eisenstein series [\textit{R. P. Langlands}, On the functional equations satisfied by Eisenstein series. Springer, Cham (1976; Zbl 0332.10018); \textit{D. Goldfeld}, Automorphic forms and \(L\)-functions for the group \(\text{GL}(n,\mathbb R)\). With an appendix by Kevin A. Broughan. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2006; Zbl 1108.11039)], and writes in a footnote that a similar formula in the adelic language has been obtained by \textit{F. Wielonsky} [Enseign. Math. (2) 31, 93--135 (1985; Zbl 0581.12006)]. In the case of relative quadratic extensions an analogue of Hecke's integral formula has been given by \textit{S. Yamamoto} [Nagoya Math. J. 189, 139--154 (2008; Zbl 1138.11052)].
