The author first describes a numerical approach introduced in [\textit{M. Wilkinson} et al., ``Anisotropic covering of fractal sets'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1204.37182}] and uses it as a starting point to define appropriate measures of (an)isotropy. The introduced measure is used to analyze the anisotropy of fractal sets. Two illustrative meaningful examples are also given.
