The paper aims at applying the Hermite-Gauss method to approximate the eigenvalues of the Dirac system with several points of discontinuity. The results of this method are compared with results of the sinc-Gaussian method which was considered the best sampling method before this paper. The new method is described in details and estimates of errors are included. Remarkably, the error of the method decays exponentially in terms of number of involved samples. Some significant numerical examples are discussed to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the presented method.
