The authors consider certain \(k\)-dimensional submanifolds \(S_k\) of \(\mathbb R^n\), \(n=k(k+3)/2\). They obtain various Fourier extension estimates of the form \[ \| \widehat{fd\sigma}\| _{L^q(\mathbb R^n)}\leq C \| f\| _{L^p(S_k)}, \] for all \(f\in C_c^\infty(S_k)\). Their results are optimal for \(k=2 \) and \(3\).
