Let \(R\) be a Noetherian ring and \(A\) an Artinian \(R\)-module. Using notions of system of parameters and multiplicity for the case under consideration [see \textit{Nguen Tu Cuong} and \textit{Le Tanh Nhan}, East-West J. Math. 1, No. 2, 179--196 (1999; Zbl 0952.13005)], the authors set \[ I(\underline x; A)= \ell_R(0:_A\underline xR)- e(\underline x; A) \] and \(I(A)= \sup\{I(\underline x;A)|\,\underline x\) system of parameters of \(A\}\), where \(\ell\) means length, \(\underline x\) is a system of parameters of \(A\), and \(e(\underline x; A)\) is the multiplicity of \(A\) with respect to \(\underline x\). In case \(I(A)\) is finite, \(A\) is called a generalized co-Cohen-Macaulay-module. If \(I(\underline x; A)\) is constant, i.e. independent of the parameter system \(\underline x\) of \(A\), then \(A\) is called a generalized co-Buchsbaum-module. The authors indicate (without proofs) some equivalent conditions for \(A\) to be generalized co-Cohen-Macaulay and generalized co-Buchsbaum, respectively.
