This paper extends the global density theorem for the Lebesgue measure to Radon measures \(\mu\) with respect to Federer measures \(\lambda\) (instead of Lebesgue measure) in the setting for a general metric space \((X,d)\). \(\lambda\) is said to be Federer measure on \((X,d)\) iff almost everywhere w.r.t. \(\lambda\) \(\sup_{r>0}{\lambda\bigl(B(x,3r)\bigr)\over \lambda\bigl(B(x,r)\bigr)}<\infty\), where \(B(x,r)\) is the closed ball with radius \(r\) and centre \(x\). Examples of Federer measures are self- similar measures. The density result can also be extended to non-Radon measures provided that \((X,d)\) is separable.
