The Minkowski geometric algebra of subsets of the complex plane can be considered as a generalization of the arithmetic of intervals of the real line, which is important in the study of errors in Numerical Analysis. Here the authors study, with respect to the Minkowski geometric algebra, the image of subsets of the complex plane by a polynomial. Technical difficulties are studied in detail.
