The paper is devoted to the construction of splitting schemes for solving multidimensional problems. A splitting scheme with respect to physical processes reducing the solution of the system of equations to solving equations for individual components is considered. An extension of splitting schemes for the case of an approximation of the initial equations by the finite volume method is presented.
