The Mackey-Glass-type delay differential equation \[ x'(t)= -x(t)+\zeta f(x(t- h))\tag{1} \] is considered, where \(f\in C^3(\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R})\) satisfies certain conditions. It is proved that, if \(\zeta> 1\) is sufficiently close to 1 and \(h\geq 0\) is sufficiently close to \(0\), then equation (1) is globally stable.
