The author considers the solutions of the equation \[ w^{(m)}=q(r)g(w), \quad r>a,\tag{1} \] satisfying the initial conditions \[ w^{(m-i)}(a)>\frac{\delta}{(i-1)!}a^{i-1},\quad i=1, 2, \dots, m,\tag{2} \] where \(a>0\) and \(\delta>0\) are constants, \(m\geq 2\) is an integer, \(q: [a, \infty ) \to [0, \infty)\) belongs to \(L_{loc}([a, \infty))\) and \(g: (0, \infty)\to (0, \infty)\) is a continuous function. A solution \(\tilde{w}:[a, \tilde{b})\to \mathbb{R}\), \(a<\tilde{b}\leq \infty\) of problem (1), (2) is called an extension of a solution \(w: [a, b) \to \mathbb{R}\) if \(\tilde{b}\geq b\) and \(\tilde{w}(r)=w (r) \) for any \(r\in [a, b)\). A solution \(w: [a, b) \to \mathbb{R}\) of problem (1), (2), is said to be nonextendable if \(b=\tilde{b}\) for every its extension \(\tilde{w}: [a, \tilde{b})\to \mathbb{R}\). Every non-extendable solution of (1), (2), either is a proper solution defined on the whole half-line \([a, \infty)\) or tends to infinity on a finite interval what is known as ``blow-up'' phenomenon. This paper gives several conditions that the proper solution of problem (1), (2), has an a priori estimate or every nonextendable solution of (1), (2), tends to infinity on a finite interval.
